Good Evening All
Hope everyone is staying warm. E mails and phone calls have indicated that we made the right decision to cancel/postpone the January 9th race. This race has been rescheduled to January 16th. I have attached in my e mails the new flyer for the January 16th race, our SDTA 2010 Flat Track Points Series Schedule, our calendar that we use to coordinate races which has all AHRMA, AMA Pro & Amateur races and other association races from our neighbor states. If anyone knows of any additional races or sees an error, please let us know. Our e mail list is now over 225 which is wonderful. Please continue to spread the word and give out my e mail address to anyone that may be interested.

We at SDTA have made every attempt to schedule around AHRMA, AMA and other racing organizations. So far, we have only 1 conflict and that is on February 20th with an AHRMA TT & ST at Aonia Pass on that same day.
PRACTICE SESSIONSA few racers are trying to organize another practice day at Thunder Bowl Speedway on January 23rd. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this day and needs additional information can contact

john@jr9r.comNEWS LETTER FROM JAY AND MARTI THOMPSON (Track Pastors)For those of you that have not had the pleasure of meeting Jay & Marti. They are our SDTA track pastors. They came on board approximately the same time as Shawn, Ray and myself took over the responsibilities of the SDTA. They provide our pre race invocation and prayers for all of our safety. They have been a wonderful addition. Attached is the news letter for your reading. Anyone wishing to contact Jay or Marti may do so @
tpastorjay@aol.comKING KENNY What a THRILL it must have been to be at Indy this year to witness the return of King Kenny on his Yamaha TZ750. Truly UNBELEIVABLE!!!!!
Below is a short youtube clip
In 1975, Kenny Roberts won the Indy Mile riding the legendary Yamaha TZ750 flat tracker – a bike so powerful that it was soon banned by the AMA
