My son Colby 24x battling for the win in moto 2. He got the hole shot and battled the red quad for all 5 laps until the flag.
He won the overall for the night with the moto 2 win.
Also behind them was a nice battle shaping up between #122 Hunter Freeman and #53 Sierra Morgan.
It was a great night of racing and all the pilots were on their "A" game.
Heres a short vid of the final lap for the overall win.

Once again congrats to Colby!!!!!!!!

Steve we made it out the week before and saw some good dirt bike racing.  Tyler and I have a question....did the big quads hit the table/single at the finish line or only the table?  I thought it was incredible to see some of the smaller dirt bikes (85cc-125cc) hit that thing.  Yes they are a lot lighter but darn...... Shocked

Thanks Jay.
I didnt see anyone hit it, but there is a video floating around of Devin making it.
Erik, is that why Lyndon didnt finish well???
I seem to miss all the racing trying to keep the mini tuned and ready.

Devin hit it once in the first moto and 2 times in the second.  He looked good hitting it but for me the pucker factor would have taken hold!

(remember CLUE):

It was Devin Heimes, at Dade City, in the second moto'... on laps 1 and 2
with the LTR450 SuzOOOKi!

Freakin' AWEsome.

Him and Kyle came through wheel to wheel on the holeshot through both 180
degree turns and over the double before the finish line/table to single. You know
Kyle is very aggressive and wasn't backing down. So... as they both went side by
side wide open headed to the table... one person "lifted" the other well...

BLAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH..... table to single!  Ssssschweeeeeet!

In all honesty, Kyle looked faster in the early laps. It was as if Devin "needed" that
cause Kyle would make it up by the time they came around to the front again.
Especially in the whoops.

Somehow though, after several laps Devin was just checked out. As cool as that was,
Devin's first moto' performance of coming from around 5'th to 1'st was a fun race to
watch as well Smiley
