The Feature Weekend mx race is shaping up to be a great race, we have a number of good riders committed to coming, some pro's too. I will put up more on that in a later post.
Anywho, I am going to have the track rebuilt next week by Blue Rock construction...to ensure it is awesome condition.
This means that I am going to have it closed on the Friday 3rd sept, that way we all get to race on a professionally prepped track Saturday morning.
Obviously, after the race, it's game on...and you can ride the track all the way through Monday.
I will make sure the intermediate track and the other tracks are in good condition and open Friday.

Oh BTW, I am going to try and have them put the drag strip back in the freestyle area too, if so I will put the lights back up and have them on auto all weekend.

I am sure you will have the usual full time EMT's on site. Is the swimming hole still full? With the drag strip and lights people who think their quad is fast can race. The Plex now has 3 groomed MX tracks and miles of wet and dry trails. The Plex has excellent 1 way trails. The plex has free camping, The plex allows night riding. The plex has a Kids TT track. The plex has a Kids obstacle course. The plex has a free style ramp. The plex has hot showers. Maybe I should have made each one of those its own topic.  Sounds like all your missing is a zip line.  |

Yes it is, even though anyone can just race on that weekend and a win is a win, they get the trophy etc for the win, the points count (actually double points count) in the series some of you are running. |

Paul your a pro. track groomer in my eyes. Now are they changing anything with the track? Nothing major, I might get them to add in the ant hill section again, but bank a few corners and re-angle the table that would come after the ant hill. That would put our track back to a ~2 min lap. Mainly rebuilt the jump faces and landing etc. The track seems to be getting narrower |

I stirred up the guys at Walsh today, we got Jeremy Lawson coming out fo' sure, Mike Walsh is coming out of retirement to show his young rider what's what, Bard is racing again and Thomas "Hybrid" Tantillo is gunning for Downtown Chris Brown....should be an awesome set of races. |

At least i havent had to rebuild it 7 times in the past year. oh and it never over heated. the outer waterpump seal just was worn.
