The batteries were bad.....what do you mean by the neutral switch?  Do you mean transfer switch?

All is good now..after I replaced the batteries the charger was still not working.  I tapped on the converter and things started working.  May have had a bug or dirt keeping it from starting?  I have tested it several times and it is still working...

if you have an onan genny you will have fuel pump problems for life. That is what my prob was at the plex that time we worked late trying to fix it. Use sea foam or stabil in your fuel tank too, this ethanol is killing fuel pumps and carbureators!!!!!

Replaced the pump with one from advanced, I have started to use Star Tron as it has been highly recommended for the ethanol.

I have a filter pre and post pump. The pump is new with a warranty so I should be good. Thank you for the offer though!!!!

I use Star Brite Star Tron enzyme fuel treatment. Last trip was the firs time for it. There are many posts about it on the net with wonderful reviews. I am going to continue to use it to see if it helps with the ethanol.

I use a fuel additive also and no problems been using it since new.I also plug a fan in to blow the heat away from the genni. and this seems to have helped alot no more heat on the fuel pump.Geno I hope we go the whole weekend with no problems.I think we have earned that right after the last few trips.LOL

you can get star tron at nearly every lawn mower shop in the state now that ethanol has caused all these issues.
What i can tell you is that a new product called "Sentry" is THE BEST of all fuel treatment products. It will literally make water burn, I have seen it. I have also seen the example of water, fuel and (sea foam, startron & sentry) mixed in separate jars and only sentry stays emulcified which would make water burn. The rest separate in seconds. But anything is better than nothing for sure. i happen to have a bunch of sea foam so that is what I use until I run out....lol
