Croom camping area

Im heading down to croom for the wknd and wanna leave after work on Fri. does anyone know what the check in times are? How late can i show up and still get a spot? Does the gate lock..does it get crowded enough to worry about getting a spot? Thanx boys

Just camped out this past weekend it was outstanding.   Gate closes at 6 pm no entry after that time.  If you get there on Friday you should be good with getting a spot its first come first serve at croom. I arrived on Friday at 3pm and there was plenty to chose from but it filled up fast.   It does depend on the size of the camper or if you are using a tent.  The large sites go fast and other smaller ones for tents are easier to come by.  The rate was increased to $24 per night, includes water and electric.   Have fun!

yeah but by the time you pay for an armed security guard to watch your stuff camping will still be cheaper.

Yeah..had to call it off this wknd..be there all next wk tho..to wet and cold for a tent!! PM me if anyone is going 28th-30th
