Crystal River woman dies in ATV crash
By TBO.COM
Published: July 16, 2011
A 20-year-old Inverness woman died Friday afternoon when the all-terrain-vehicle on which she was a passenger flipped in Crystal River, authorities said.

Terri Lynn Benoit was thrown when the driver of the ATV lost control of the vehicle at about 4 p.m. in a field behind 8325 West Orangetree St., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Eric Lee Stokes, 22, of Crystal River, who was driving the 2010 Polaris ATV, also was thrown, the patrol reported. Stokes had minor injuries.

When Stokes lost control of the vehicle, it rotated and then overturned onto its right side, coming to rest against a fence.

The accident is under investigation.

People will read this and say look an Atv killed someone. They wont see it as a
person losing control of the Atv and causing a crash, that resulted in a death.
Atv's don't kill people.

Correct, that 22 y.o. mutant, pencil-dong driving it killed her! And, her family SHOULD seek criminal and civil legal action against him! Liens, if necessary.
