Hey everyone I'm interested in buying ATV's for my  family, but they all seem so expensive. I found some that not so expensive and wanted to see what you all that know about ATV's can help. I'll be honest I have not been on one in about 20yrs & wanna start riding again.

for my child that's 10 a MXR 110CC Raider kids
for myself a 250CC Sport sniper 4 stroke full size or
a TAO TAO 300 cc Hellraiser.

I haven't bought anything yet but this is what I found and we all are beginners. Thanks everyone

I think the first thing you should consider is WHERE ARE YOU GONNA RIDE YOUR ATV's,  Where you live will determine if you will have to drive alot to enjoy the activity your about to get into. For your sake, I hope you live north of lake okeechobee.  South of the lake there is nowhere really to ride (Legally).

I do live south, I live actually in homestead.
I noticed some places the forum listed & there was only one in Miami all others are further North.
Thanks for the advice

couldnt agree more. The brands you mention are chinese and parts issues will arise. Look for clean 2-4 yr old stuff and you will be much happier if you do start riding and enjoying this hobby. As also stated, south florida lacks badly in riding areas. The closest FAMILY riding area to you is Dirty Foot Adventures and that is likely about 4hr drive one way for you. Most riding areas people mention are just places they are getting away with it for now but if you dont own it or you dont have written permission then ridig is illegal of course unless it is in a park like croom, motoplex, Ocala Nat Forest or DirtyFoot...etc.
Honda is usually the most bulletproof quad out there for beginner size quads..ie..trx90, trx250, trx300ex, trx400ex.
Good Luck hope this helps.
