Somewhere in time, somebody thought it was a great idea.  I don't disparage the concept; just the execution.  This is what happens when you put money into unaccountable hands.  I own a few rental properties and I always do full background checks.  I had a similar couple come to me to rent one of my duplexes.  They were a young couple, boyfriend/girlfriend, claiming to be going to Nova University.  Normally rent only to families but allowed them to fill out an application and ran a background check.  Turned out, between the two of them, they had run up over $750,000.00 in student loans from all around the country.  That's not counting the numerous credit cards and consumer loans that ran up another $130,000.00.  And yes, every single loan (there was over twenty loans between them) were >90 days delinquent.  The sick thing is, they keep asking and somebody keeps giving.  The film is not an isolated incident; this behavior is rampant.

Your background checks are responsible actions! I can't watch the video on my Ipad, so, excuse me if I miss the point. But, businesses(banks, credit card co., etc..) grant those loans(fully-expecting losses) and businesses default on loans, simply changing names/location, etc. and start over. Trump's done it.
