Went to JW Corbett today to scout out the place for hunting (put up some trail cams, etc) and was stopped by FWC about a half mile from my truck and was told ATVs are prohibited in JW. I was sent packing with a $55 fine. I thought ATVs were allowed during hunting season but learned the hard way they arenít. I think they were a bit harsh being it was my first time ever at JW and donít have as much as a parking ticket on my drivers license and had all of my other licenses and permits in order. What annoys me more is the person at the check station didnít mention anything about it and accepted the $10 use fee and didnít give me a heads up.

Sorry to hear about that. Somebody told me ATV's were allowed in there.

I thought so too, at least for hunting purposes. Going to try to go to Three Lakes WMA sometime next week. Three Lakes does seem to be ATV friendly.
